Itinerary Ausangate Trek 3 Days
Day 1: Cusco – Upis – Arapa Pass – Pucacocha Lagoon
Early departure from Cusco (4:30 a.m.) by private transport to Upis (4,400 m). Begin the trek with an ascent to Arapa Pass (5,100 m), enjoying breathtaking views of the Andes and highland lakes. Continue downhill to Pucacocha Lagoon where we set up camp.

Overnight: Pucacocha campsite.
Day 2: Pucacocha – Palomani Pass – Huchuy Phinaya
This is the most challenging day. Cross the Palomani Pass (5,200 m), the highest point of the trek, with incredible views of the Ausangate glacier. Descend into the peaceful valley of Huchuy Phinaya, surrounded by snow-capped peaks.

Day 3: Huchuy Phinaya – Pacchanta – Hot Springs – Cusco
Gradual descent to the village of Pacchanta, known for its thermal baths. Time to relax before lunch. Return to Cusco by private transport, arriving around 5:00 p.m.
