ProtectingOurFuture: United Against Child Sexual Exploitation

Commitment to the Protection of Children and Adolescents
At Inca Expedition Trips, we take pride in offering unique experiences that connect our travelers with the cultural and natural richness of Peru. However, our commitment goes beyond tourism: we are firmly dedicated to protecting the rights of children and adolescents and to combating any form of sexual exploitation within the tourism sector.
For this reason, we comply with the National Code of Conduct against the Sexual Exploitation of Children and Adolescents in Tourism (ESNNA Code), an initiative promoted by the Peruvian government to eradicate this crime and ensure responsible and ethical tourism.
The ESNNA Code is a set of standards and practices designed to prevent, identify, and report cases of sexual exploitation of minors in the tourism sector. This code aligns with the principles of the World Tourism Organization (UNWTO) and with national and international laws that protect children’s rights.
At Inca Expedition Trips, we adopt this code as part of our social responsibility policy and commit to:
Training our staff:
All our team members receive continuous training to identify and prevent risk situations related to child sexual exploitation.
Informing our travelers:
We promote awareness among our clients about the importance of protecting children and adolescents and provide information on how to report suspected cases.
Collaborating with authorities and organizations:
We work closely with government entities and specialized NGOs to strengthen actions against ESNNA.
Promoting responsible tourism:
We encourage tourism practices that respect human rights and contribute to the sustainable development of communities.
As part of our community of responsible travelers, you can also be an agent of change:
Get informed: Learn about the laws and risks associated with child sexual exploitation in tourism.
Report: If during your trip you witness or suspect a case of sexual exploitation of minors, report it immediately to local authorities or through official channels:
Be an example: Promote ethical and respectful tourism with local communities.
At Inca Expedition Trips, we believe that tourism should not only be an enriching experience for travelers, but also a positive force for the communities we visit. That is why we join the fight against the sexual exploitation of children and adolescents, and we invite you to be part of this commitment.
Together, we can protect the future of our children and build a more humane and responsible tourism industry.
