Approximate duration: 6 hours

At the scheduled time, our team will pick you up directly from your hotel to begin a fascinating cultural experience in the capital of the Inca Empire.

We’ll start at Cusco’s Main Square (Plaza de Armas), the historic heart of the city, surrounded by impressive colonial buildings built atop ancient Inca palaces. Then, we’ll visit the Cusco Cathedral, a masterpiece of colonial religious art, where you’ll admire its exquisite décor, baroque altars, and valuable paintings from the Cusco School.

Next, we’ll walk along cobblestone streets of Inca origin until reaching Qorikancha (Temple of the Sun), the most important religious site of the Inca Empire, renowned for its perfectly fitted stone architecture and its fusion with the Santo Domingo Convent.

We will then head to the outskirts of the city to explore the most iconic archaeological sites:

  • Sacsayhuamán – An impressive ceremonial fortress built with enormous carved stone blocks.
  • Q’enqo – A ceremonial center with underground passages and ritual altars.
  • Puka Pukara – An ancient military post and strategic lookout point.
  • Tambomachay – A complex associated with water worship and Inca rest.

After the tour, we will return you to your hotel or, if you prefer, drop you off at the Main Square so you can continue exploring on your own.
