Descripción del Tour Maras, Moray y Chinchero – Medio Día
Para comenzar esta enriquecedora excursión, pasaremos por su hotel en Cusco a las 8:30 a.m. y nos dirigiremos al encantador pueblo de Maras, donde visitaremos las famosas Salineras, un complejo de más de 4,000 pozas de sal utilizadas desde tiempos preincaicos. Aquí podrá observar el fascinante proceso de recolección y cristalización de la sal, una tradición que aún se conserva viva gracias a las comunidades locales.
Luego continuaremos hacia el impresionante complejo arqueológico de Moray, un antiguo laboratorio agrícola inca compuesto por terrazas circulares dispuestas en forma de anfiteatro. Cada nivel posee un microclima distinto, lo que permitió a los incas experimentar con distintos cultivos y adaptarlos a diversas altitudes.
Antes de regresar a Cusco , haremos una parada en el pintoresco pueblo de Chinchero, donde conocerá de cerca el arte textil andino. Podrá presenciar el proceso completo: desde el lavado e hilado de la lana de camélidos, hasta el teñido con tintes naturales y el tejido en telares tradicionales.
La excursión finaliza con el retorno a Cusco, con llegada aproximada a las 2:30 p.m..
Itinerary Maras, Moray & Salt Mines – Full Day Tour
Día 1:
08:30 a.m. – Hotel Pickup in Cusco
Departure towards the Sacred Valley area, accompanied by a professional guide.
09:30 a.m. – Visit to Chinchero

10:30 a.m. – Visit to Moray

11:30 a.m. – Visit to the Maras Salt Mines
Discover the spectacular Maras Salt Mines, where over 3,000 pre-Inca salt ponds are still used today by local communities through traditional methods.
01:30 p.m. – Return to Cusco
Approximate arrival in Cusco’s city center and end of services.
